Postcard from Marseillan
Bonjour from the beautiful town of Marseillan, on the edge of the Etang du Thau. The Etang is a salt water lagoon which separates Marseillan from the Mediterranean and which I discover is known for its speckled seahorses. I haven’t met one yet but then they are generally small, about 12cm, and I haven’t been in the water, though it’s hot enough for sure, 30+

The oleander is in bloom everywhere…
The water in the Etang is blue and still…
The apricots are ripe and sweet…
The prawns are on steroids…
