Absolutely. We do always write what we know in some symbolic way. I often look at past projects and see a common, if discrete theme. They've processed the preceding few years. But Avril, when you write what you do/don't know, you do so with poetic gift, unearthing quiet wisdom which is a balm to the soul. But I bet it never feels like that in the eye of the storm.
